Chintan Patel has professional experience of 16+ years in the corporate finance and financial advisory space. He has experience advising clients on a broad range of transaction advisory services and performing valuations for financial reporting and tax compliance purposes. He has been an advisor for mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, venture capital, and private equity investments. 

In the financial reporting and tax compliance space, Chintan has helped clients with purchase price allocation under ASC 805, goodwill impairment testing under ASC 350 compliance, derivative valuation under ASC 815, fair value under ASC 820 guidance (including portfolio valuation services), and valuations of privately-held common & preferred stock under ASC 718/IRC 409A.  Chintan also has strong experience in Gift and Estate Tax valuation and strong-hold in providing support to audit firms in valuation reviews (fair value specialist role).

Chintan has proficiency in setting up offshore delivery centers’ and building technical teams in his prior stint in organizations like Deloitte and EXL Services (SVB Analytics). Currently, at alliantgroup, Chintan leads and manages the business valuation practice. Chintan is responsible for client relationships, team building, and valuation engagements end-to-end.

Chintan’s experience spans working across industries like technology, consumer, and financial services, etc., and with organizations like Deloitte USI, SVB Analytics, and RBSA Valuation Advisors. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute, US, and holds a Master’s Degree in Science (Finance) from ICFAI University.
